The Bio

The song was started while on the road during the 2005 late fall months. At the time there was the heavy and early campaigning going on for the 2008 election. Every where on TV there was all of these brainless wonders trying to tell me what I should believe in and how I should think. Everywhere and 24 hours a day non stop yak, yak, yak, yak. One night while to find a program on TV I wanted to watch, on every channel all of them all making me crazy, I could not take it anymore. I set down got my pen and D-15 and went to work. Several months later while back home in the studio, a demo was made and “Better Stop” was created. I played around with the song for months, then when a friend was doing a show in the Charleston SC area and I had the opportunity to sit in with him. He suddenly said he must get a drink because his throat was going dry, and out of no where turned the front to me. I stuttered around telling about the song and how it came to be hoping he would return before I made a fool out of myself due to the fact I was not prepared. I could see him at the bar looking at me and laughing and shaking his head, so I thought OK HERE WE GO. The band was shocked when I announced that I was going to do Better Stop due to the fact they had only heard the song briefly before the show. Even though it started out shaky, we pulled it off, (somewhat) and the crowd seemed to enjoy it, (after all it was the third set). The song is what I think about Politicians and Politics. No one will probably ever be interested in the song due to its incorrectness; however I do enjoy doing it when the opportunity arrives.

       Lyrics

I Don’t really care for Chicken Crap or Politicians

To me they’re one of the same

And I’m getting tired of the bull that they’re selling

And then wanting me stay sane

I work day and night, and they keep on spending

like money grows wild on trees

And I’ve had enough of their slack-minded thinking

I’m so mad I can’t see

Well they better stop taking me for granted

Well they better stop thinking I don’t see

That they are so dumb, they can’t take their thumb

And stick it where they can’t see, yea stick it where they can’t see

Instrumental break

They’d think it was so funny, if Kudzu turned to money

Till the illegals’ picked it all clean

Then they’d act so concerned and find someone to burn

And let CNN call the whole thing  a crime scene

Well they better stop taking me for granted

Well they better stop thinking that I can’t see

That they are so dumb, they can’t take their thumb

And stick it where they can’t see

And stick it where they can’t see  (instrumental break)
